I believe the expression goes “I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as quickly as I could”, which is fairly accurate. My father was in the military, so I traveled around extensively in my youth, but we moved to Texas before my teens. After high school, I attended various colleges throughout the state and ending up finishing at North Texas State University, now known as The University of North Texas. “Go Mean Green!” I now live in Dallas, Texas and have a son and a dog. I enjoy the outdoors and the company of good friends. Dallas is my home, but I enjoy the Austin area immensely and get down there often.
