I am originally a Pennsylvania native, but I have lived in Virginia for the past 27 years. I am a graduate of Penn State University, where I played football under the legendary, Coach Joe Paterno. Afterwards, I was drafted by the New Orleans Saints. Unfortunately, my NFL career was cut short due to an injury. One of the quotes that Joe Paterno used to consistently remind our team was, “It’s not what happens to you in life, it’s how you react that’s important.” I have been happily married for 34 years to Annette, who I met at Penn State and I am the proud father of two children, Selina and Lukas. When my children were growing, I spent most of my free time coaching whatever sport they played, so I am well versed in football, basketball, soccer, baseball and lacrosse. Most of my working life has been spent as a small business owner, until I was hired at Churchill Mortgage 6 years ago. I am proud to say that I have been a member of the Presidents’ Club four times, which is an honor bestowed on the top producers at Churchill Mortgage.
